How Much Do Energy Drinks Cost?
Energy drinks happen to be amongst the products in which price differences between the various brands can be very huge
. In fact, it is quite reasonable to say that you can get an energy drink for pretty much any budget. A question that baffles many people is as to just what is the cause for these major price differences. There are people who want to invest in the higher priced energy-drinks - but who want to be sure that they will be getting real value for the extra money that they have to put in. There are also people who, due to their modest financial ability, can only afford the lower priced energy drinks. These will want to be reassured that they are not having to put up with too large compromises - and that they are not exposing themselves to defective products by opting for those lower priced energy-drinks.
So, indeed, what causes the major pricing differences we tend to see between various energy drink brands?
Well, one factor that causes major pricing differences between energy drinks is the ingredients that go into the making of the drinks. Where you are looking at natural energy drinks, made from herbal extracts, you may have ingredients that have to be obtained at huge costs, from far off lands. The costs of obtaining these ingredients and transporting them to where you are would be costs that you would have to bear, as the final consumer of the product.
Another factor that causes the pricing differences between energy drinks is the technology employed in making the drinks. Generally, the more processed and packaged the energy-drink, the greater the cost of it. In exchange for the higher cost you have to bear here, you get things like a product you can use conveniently, or one that is better preserved.
How well established an energy-drink brand is will also play a major role in determining what it is sold for. The better established brands will tend to be sold for higher prices than the upcoming energy-drink brands; which are still trying to make a name for themselves. In the case of the bigger brands, you would be paying for the trust (peace of mind) you get through them, seeing that these will be products that have been 'tried and proven.' In any case, establishing the huge brand names costs money too, and this is money that you, as the end user of the product, have to pay.
All the other factors held constant, where you purchase your energy-drinks will also determine what you have to pay for them. Chances are that you would obtain energy-drinks at considerably lower prices online (even after providing for shipping costs) than you would do in brick and mortar establishments.
