How Much Does The SciPhone iPhone Clone Cost?

How Much Does The SciPhone iPhone Clone Cost?

I recently heard from someone who asked me approximately how much a CECT sciphone costs. The problem in answering this question is that there are several versions of this phone and many sellers will call any clone that has the finger touch interface and functions like the original a sciphone. So, in the following article, I will try to answer this question as best as I can by going over some of the current pricing on some of the more popular, but different, models. (Keep in mind that the pricing on all of these phones vary over time. As newer models come out, the price usually drops on the older models.) But, generally the cost saving is more notable over the life of the phone because you're not stuck paying any high monthly bill. Any of these phones work with low cost GSM sim cards.

The SciPhone i68+: This is probably thought of as the original model. And, although this one is older, it's still sought after because the firmware on it is thought to be one of the best. This phone was pretty much an upgrade to the popular CECT P168. The tri band became a quad band and the shake and tilt feature (as well as the new firmware) were added. You can generally get this model in the $50 and up range. And, as in the case with all of the clones, the more memory a phone comes with, the more it is going to cost.

The i9: Many times, sellers will mix the name of two popular clones in an auction's title to draw more traffic to their listings. So, generally most people who are looking at this phone are really interested in a CECT i9, although this may not be totally clear. (In truth, it's my opinion that many of the phones referred to as a sciphone or really some variation on the i9. ) The 9 is a very popular phone which is a brisk seller. It's a very sleek, thin, and light weight phone, which makes it appealing to a wide variety of people. It's also just very responsive and user friendly. Generally speaking, the pricing on this phone starts at around $60 depending on the memory included. And, speaking of very small, thin phones, there's a mini phone similar to this one that is called the KA08. But, in my opinion, it's not as feature rich as the i9.

The SciPhone 3G or the i9+++: Perhaps the newest phone sold under this phrase is referred to as the 3G or three plus option. (Most of the time, it is called the i9+++.) This phone has a more rounded design, offers additional pages of menu icons, often includes WiFi, and supports at much as 32 GB of memory. It also often comes preloaded with facebook, Google, MSN, and mobile QQ. Some of these models also include Skype.

As you might expect, this is the most expensive option in the line up because it is the newest. In models with a significant amount of memory, you're often in the $100 range, but I rarely see these models reach more than $150. People often ask me if they will pay less if they buy a model with less memory and then upgrade with your own memory card. Depending on the pricing of the phone and the card, this is sometimes cheaper and sometimes it isn't. If you already have a 32GB card lying around, you can save some money. But, if not, it's usually preferable to get something which includes everything, but I do understand that most people are looking to spend the least money as is possible.

It's my opinion that the most popular phone that is currently referred to as a sciphone is typically some variation on the i9. To view video, close up photos, full specifications, and real time rock bottom pricing on this phone, please visit http://i9clonephonereview.com
