Personal Grants are important in todays time. These are those grants which are granted by a government of a particular country to its citizens. These grants are helpful in the sense that they are given by government which does not want it back. In short, when an individual receives this type of grants, he is not pressurized with the burden of repaying it back to the government. These grants are given to the citizen at various levels such as local level, federal level and also county level, depending upon ones need.

These grants help in overcoming the lack of money which might come at any point of time. Not only this, one of the other advantages of these types of grants is that they are given instantly. A candidate has to meet the requirement which is laid down by the government. Once he meets them, he can apply for the grant. Not only this, candidate is also required to bring in all the related documents in order to get the Personal Grants.

There are many different categories of these types of grants for people-

House grants- everyone wants to have a house of his own, sooner or later. For this he saves a considerable amount of money. However, it is seen more often that for a middle class man, there is always a shortage of funds when it comes to building the house of their dreams. This shortage serves as a major hindrance. In order to reduce such a hindrance people can apply for personal house grants.

Education grants- these grants are given by the government to all the aspiring candidates who want to study more and more but do not have enough funds to carry the expenses. A candidate needs to qualify a certain exam if necessary to take such grants.

Grants for Training- these grants are also provided by the government who want to undergo training in a particular field. The training fee in todays time is quite huge. As a result, it becomes relatively difficult for an individual to carry the expense.

Women grants- these types of personal grants are given specifically to the women. They include their education, their marriage and other related fields.

Vehicle grants- in most of the countries, the government also gives vehicle grants to individuals.

No matter for the type of personal grants one is applying, whether Grants for Training or house grants, one thing should be kept in mind that when a person applies for a particular grant and he gets the money also, he should then use the money for that very purpose only. For example, if an individual applies for a house grant, then he should not spend the money that he has got in buying a car for himself. If the government finds this, then it is liable for asking the individual to repay back the grant along with a particular rate of interest.
