Even surgeons who are accustomed to performing small-grade liposuctions can be caught woefully off-guard when attempting to remove a much larger amount of fat, and when it happens the results can be disastrous.

If you are determined to get a large volume liposuction, be even more careful than you ordinarily would be in selecting your surgeon. Find out about their qualifications, their experience level, and find out how many large scale fat removal procedures they have performed. See if you can find out how often they experience complications, and check on the internet to see if there's any bad press about the surgeon. Do everything you can to find out as much as possible about your desired procedure and the surgeon who will be operating on you. In such a delicate procedure, you want to make sure you're in the very best hands possible.
