When you see them emerge you can now identify your target market , reach and develop profits out of contacting from that target market.

Qualify- Before including prospects on your mailing list, you first need to ask qualifying questions such as whether you can contact these people or whether you have all the right information. If you have identified people already and don't know how to start building the list, you may contact a business database provider and tell them exactly what are the specifications that should be included on your list. You may also ask yourself whether or not these people have the money to pay for what you are offering.

Do they have a need- You need to ask yourself whether prospects that could be included in your list has a need of your products and services. If not then you have to think twice of including them.


Quantity- You also need to make sure that you have an adequate amount of prospects to contact to produce the volume of business you need.

Don't waste your time contacting people who might not even be interested with what you offer, that's not the targeted market for you. Use the points listed above to create the list. If you build a targeted list, it will give an overwhelming benefit for you and your prospects.
