The camps must be sheltered. The wind will quickly take away the bodys heat; people will easily feel cold or even cause disease. Election in the wind area will disturb the rest, the strong wind will sweep away the tents, difficult to light the bonfires and cooking and heating is difficult to guarantee. Therefore, it is best in the lee of small hills, forest clearing near woods from time to time, caves, and rock below the ridge side of the camp and other places.

Constructing camp, we should prevent the intrusion of wild animals. Carefully observe whether there are animal tracks, droppings and nests around the camp. Not to build camp in the areas with more snakes and mice, to prevent the injuries to people or damage to equipment and facilities. We should prepare some insect repellent, insect, scorpion drugs and protective measures. Sprinkle some around the camps all over the ash, which can effectively prevent the snake, scorpion, worm infestations.

The camp should better choose a place of long time sunshine to make warm, dry, and clean environment, easy to dry clothes, goods and equipment. To camp on flat ground, there is better not grass roots and debris, not a bump or slope. It will damage the equipment or stab people, and also influence the quality of staffs rest.

Special measures: it is the rainy season from June to September. If we are planning to travel to the southern part, we should better have a look at the weather condition, the terrain of the destination and the water level before the journey. In case we encounter the rainy weather, the best way is not to enter the mountain.
