How To Come Up With New Blog Content Every Day
One of the most frequent frustrations and hesitancies I receive from new bloggers is: "Where do I find exciting new ideas for my blog?" and "I don't feel I have substantial interesting content to give people." Here's a thought, what if your newest, freshest blog composition was staring at you - in the very things you do every single day! Let me share with you a few examples of how to inspire, formulate and repurpose your LIFE for your blog content: 1. Taking a Subscriber's Problem Via Email or Instant Messaging Connecting with your subscribers is important. It solidifies the connection building process and enhances the rapport you are looking to achieving with your readership. As a blogger - I get questions in daily that are simple to answer, but why not turn that into a open educational post? (With consent of course) Recently, I received a question from {1|one| of my {subscribers|readers| and repurposed it in a video blog on YouTube. I addressed what I assumed to be MANY of my reader's concerns in a short 3 minute tutorial. The reaction was awesome! "Rachel...I was curious about the same topic!" 2. Use Your Own Pondering as Blog Content I think. I mull. I wonder. I have a lot of questions still about the realms of {web|internet| marketing. So, of course - I am always off to write or IM my mentors and gurus...digging deep for the answers of my heart's deepest desires. Okay, well...maybe not quite so deep. But elementary questions YOU have... I guarantee your subscribers have as well. The responses you get from a trainer should only be used by consent, but may just a short quote from their answer will suffice. 3. Give Step by Steps on Finishing Tasks I find this type of post does extremely well with my readers. If someone is watching you, reading at least on a semi-regular basis, there is certainly a {teacher/student|mentor/mentored) relationship here. Step by step tutorial posts also bring your blog down to reality, as many internet marketers can get lost in the rhetoric of theoretical chatter. 4. Record a Video of Yourself Explaining How to do Something Any webcam will do. You can also take screen casting (via jing) if this particular blog content is a tech-related task. 5. Record a Dialog We all have conversations every day and some of these are pertinent to our business. Microphones aren't expensive and editing down a few bite sized yet applicable snippets is not that hard. Of course, approval from the people you chat with is essential! Varying the medium by which you relay your message prevents boredom with your reader and adds finesse to the content of your blog.
