Cats are prone to stomach problem regarding to their eating behaviour. Sometimes they consume their hair while they are grooming themselves and then it will cause furlball in their stomach. Cats sometimes like to eat food that they should not eat, just like dog's food.

These are some stomach problem that can affect your cat that you should know as a cat owner:

*Constipation

Watch carefully your cat when you find constipation affecting cat. It is an indication of dangerous diseases such as hormonal imbalance and tumors.

*Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Is your cat feeling stressed?. Well, it can cause inflammatory bowel disease in cat. Another cause is parasites, toxic plants, and sometimes allergies to certain foods.

*Diarhhea

Do you like giving cow milk to your cat?. Please stop doing this. Cause you are gonna hurt your cat. Cats are intolerant to lactose in cow milk. Beside milk, ice cream is also bad for cat. Diarrhea in cats can be cured by its own. But, if it is too chronic, you must bring your cat to the veterinarian.

Well, if you want to prevent stomach problem in cats. You can try steps below:

a. Allow your cat to eat grass. Don't you know that if grass is good for your cat's health?. It contains fibre which is good to relieve stomach ache, to cough up furl ball, and for your cat's diet.

b. Watch your cat's metabolisme. If needed, speed up you cats metabolism by feeding cat with smaller food but more frequently.

c. It is easy for cats to get dehydrated. So, make sure you place water bowl around different area of your house.

d. There are some food which is not good for cat such as chocolate, table scraps, etc. Only give the best for your cat.

e. Give your cat pepcid AC. But make sure you ask the veterinarian first.
