Most people have somebody they idolize. Some people look up to others who are talented. Others look up to people because they are beautiful. There are also others who idolize other people because of the success they have achieved in life. There is really nothing wrong in idolizing others. However, idolizing wouldn't do much if you stop at just that. If you admire successful people and you want to be like them, you need to take action. You need to move and do something. Most probably you already know this. It's just that some people do not know where to start or they lack the drive or the motivation to do it. Do not worry. Set your goal. You have to determine what it is that you want to achieve. You can never get motivated to do something if you are not sure what that something is, right?
Feel your success. Put your self in a situation as if you have already achieved your goal. Feel how it feels like. If for example you want to be a successful Hollywood actress, imagine yourself receiving the Oscar. Say your speech. Wave to the crowd. Hold on to that feeling because that will surely drive you to succeed.
Make a plan of action. Write down the things that you need to do. Beside each, write the time you want them done. Just remember to set realistic time frames. For example, if you want to star in a movie, do not set the deadline for next month. That is a very tall order and you will likely fail.
