The best part, you can buy a closet organizer kit and have efficient, well organized closets in your house. And, you don't have to spend a lot of money to do so.

The following are some tips to help you inexpensively get your closet organized:

Multi-tiered Hangers

Try three- or five-tiered hangers instead of common hangers that are made with only on horizontal bar. These hangers were designed to keep your pants from wrinkling while maximizing your storage space.

Additional Hanging Rod

These rods require no additional tools for installation and they hang from your existing rod. Your hanging space will instantly multiply.

Shoe Racks and Pockets

There are plenty of options for shoe racks that are available to add to your closet. Once really inexpensive option is hanging pocket shoe organizers. These organizers come with hooks at the top so installation couldn't be easier. Simply hang them up from an existing rod.

If it's possible, allow for more room in your closet by taking out items that either you seldom use, are out of season or aren't clothing related. You can store most of these items in plastic bins in the garage or in a storage shed.
