If you are an individual who really likes home decorating and changing rooms around every week

, then perhaps you could take that energy and put it into a money making business.

What you might want to consider is starting off with a little business called Budget Decorating. Now it's true there are many interior decorators but they really aren't going to be your competition because you're decorating on a budget.

To give you a concept of what your business could be about, set up some sort of plan where you would go into a home and decorate it with what they have available. Most likely this would mean moving furniture around and rearranging the accessories they have.

The challenge here would be to work with what they have which to you would be a challenge if you enjoy decorating. You might find that you start off with one room and if your client is pleased no doubt they will have you back for other rooms as well.

Eventually word will get out and you slowly build clientele. Many individuals who work just don't have the time to decorate and would welcome the services of another individual not only to do the work but to do the planning as well.

Many people don't have the imagination or "the eye" necessary to get the most from their furniture and accessories and quite often they will become frustrated with what they have only because perhaps they're not using it properly.

If you can create a free fresh look with what they have you would be saving them a great deal of money which means they wouldn't mind paying for your services.

As your business begins to grow you could even consider a swapping or bartering service. Perhaps one of your clients has a beautiful vase that certainly doesn't go with their decor but goes beautifully with one of your other client's decor and that client may have something that would work well with the first client.

There is no stopping as to where you can go with this business if you want to use your imagination. Naturally you're going to want to be reasonably priced and this alone will make it quite acceptable.

Ideally what you may want to do is hook up with a house cleaning service in your area who could offer this service as an add-on. Not only would it make their business more lucrative but would also be a great way for you to get yourself known.

Another option is to set up seasonal budget decorating service where you could do this twice a year in an individual's home. Perhaps for spring and summer or winter and autumn.

Who knows? You might even want to decorate specifically for Christmas. Don't forget to check with your local authorities to ensure you do everything legal.
