This is related to the point above. The worse thing than developing the wrong product is to fall in love with your own product. If your product is not selling, be ready to abandon it and develop a new one. Learn from your lesson and don't be afraid to let go.

3) You Need Your Own Website

Many people are looking for ways to make money online without any money out of their own pocket. This is possible but definitely not a long term solution. You might as well start off in the right foot.

The good news is, it is not expensive have your own website. All you need is just $10 per month when you are just starting out. Don't go for free hosting. You will not have any control over your website and there is always the risk of your website being shut down once you are up and running.

4) You Need Visitors to Your Website

Once your website is up and running and everything is set up properly, you will need to learn how to drive visitors to your website. If there is one skill that you need to master in order to be successful in business, it is driving traffic.

This is no different than an offline store. Imagine you own a sandwich shop, how are you suppose to make money if nobody visit your shop? An internet business runs the same way. You do need to know how to attract visitors to your website.
