Now, people all over the world can participate in a web video conference. They don't even have to be at their computer to do it now. Some cell phones have the ability to let people be part of a web video conference on the go.

It is simply a matter of taking advantage of current technologies to run a business more effectively and cost efficient. With the use of web video conferences, people can work any place and still be included in meetings.

A new trend has been more and more people working from home. This is saving companies and employees' money and time. The company does not have to have office space for everyone. They don't have to move people to be closer to an office.

They can hire the best possible people for the job regardless of location. Employees don't have to commute. It is a wining situation for both.

Web video conference technology is being used in many areas other than business. It is a great way for people to visit each other. Family and friends find it a wonderful alternative to a phone call or email. Schools are using it to reach and educate more people and more and more online schools are opening up.

People stay at home and still learn and participate in class. This is great for homeschooling and people with health issues that restricted their access to education. It is also working great for continuing education. Many collages are offering courses that use web video conference methods.

Even non formal education services are beginning to use web video conferences to reach people. There is a polite project for online single mothers parenting group. Instead of meeting someplace and talking, the group is going to be online.

They have a website that is restricted to the members of the group. Each group will have two moderators to control who talks and keep the conversation on topic.

The Moms get to socials and deal with issues once a week without leaving home. This is making it easier on the Mothers to actually be able to participate. They don't have to worry about travel, or getting babysitters.

They can put their kids to bed and then participate in the group. If there is a problem, they are right there to deal with it. This takes away some of the barriers for some parents that prevents them from getting the support of a parenting group. It is a very interesting and helpful, but unexpected use of web video conferencing.
