Then Click Start > Run, type rund1132.exe adadvpack.dll, LaunchINFSection%windir%infwmp10.inf,DefaultUninstall, and click "Enter", then a progress window will pop up. If you are prompted by a dialog box that wmdbind.dll cannot be found (Microsoft deliberately prevents users from installing the program), on such occasion, you can copy wmpbind.dll in the folder of windows media player to the catalog of inf in windows. Or you can name wmpbind.dll to be wmdbind.dll. Then the dialog box will be gone, then click on "browse" button and select the folder of "windows media player". In the end, We are done here.

And the computer will remind you to restart. After restarting your computer and rerunning windows media player, you will find it is windows media player 9 running. If you are prompted that it was not properly installed, you can download WMP9 install program from Microsoft official website. And, there will be no prompt box saying there is advanced version available.

Then click Start > Run, type in "regsvr32 jscript.dll" and enter. Then type "regsvr32 vbscript.dll" and enter. It is a slow process of executing jscript.dll and vbscript.dll. You will be able to uninstall WMP perfectly.
