How to Win Your Ex Back If They Are Already in Another Relationship

Winning your ex back after they have already moved one can be difficult and complicated. It is very hard to see the love of your life with another person after you have broken up. You feel replaced, alone, and feel as if they forgot about everything that you shared and meant to each other. The key to getting your ex back when they are in a new relationship is to win them back, but not steal them back.

My ex and I broke up after a four-year relationship on good terms. One week later he was already in a relationship with someone else, which was one of the biggest slaps in the face I had ever experience. I became obsessed with the idea of winning my ex back, no matter what it took. I waited for him to contact me, and went out on a casual lunch date. This turned into a movie date, and eventually into sleeping together before he had ended the relationship with the other person. I realized after he broke it to her, she was humiliated and embarrassed. I realized if anything I had accomplished my ultimate goal but I had did it in such an inappropriate manner that it hurt the other person just as much.

Just because you are obsessed with the concept of getting your ex back, does not make it excusable to hurt others in the process. The poor girl in my story did not deserve by any means what she got, and it was not right to do. Even though you love the person you were in the relationship with, you must let them go before you can rekindle what you had. This in many cases mean that you will both date other people, which can be difficult to deal with but make the relationship grow stronger in the long run. If the relationship is meant to be, you will know because you cannot live without each other, many times this is found out by realizing that no other person can replace the love you had.

Giving each other time to explore other people and opportunities allows you to test the waters and see if the relationship is the real deal. During this process it is not acceptable to hurt the other people you and your love date in the meantime. This only causes heartache for others, and makes you feel guilty in the process. If you really want to get your ex back, you will let them go first, and the rest will fall into place.
