It is known to everyone that the facilities of credit cards come at some price, which we have to pay in the form of interest and service fee.

Now, let me explain the reason why we should avoid credit cards as a replacement for cash. When we buy something through our credit cards, we are actually borrowing money from the provider of the card. And, in return we have to pay certain amount as the interest, along with the principal amount.

Suppose, if we borrowed $100 through our card, with an interest rate of 15%, it means that we have to return back $115. Therefore, we are paying $15 more for the purchase. This could be avoided by using cash instead of card. Therefore, we should always try to use cash for making payments. It will not only help us in making some saving, but, will also keep us away from debt related to credit cards.
