A series of sculptures in granite also grace the park and includes seven statues in total depicting 97 social pioneers. Built as a tribute to those who fought in Shanghai battles during 1840 and the 1940s, the 120m long, 3.8m tall artistic renderings in granite are encircled in floral rings as well.
