When you think about hypnosis, there are many things that come to mind and you actually might think that some hypnosis training is really a good idea

. What was a good idea, is something that has caught on to the bad news bug and is viewed by most mind experts as something outdated and a child of the earlier generation. The thing about people today is that they should always have access to better and improves systems of help, and the singular problem that hypnosis had was that it was not measurable at all. But there is no way you can actually measure this, and the person who is experiencing the hypnotism is buoyed by the mental momentum that they want to see a difference.

So they might see some initial success and this is only because of renewed mental determination. If that was the case, all they needed was a good placebo experiment and they would get the same results. Also, when they do find that the initial success was waning, what they would do was to go to the same therapy again to get the supposed results, which would explain why hypnosis seemed so popular. It is like going back and biting the bark, the result is only temporary and eventually the self-determination would be replaced by a sense of hopelessness that cannot go away.
