Hypnotic Mind Control - 3 Secret Conversational Hypnosis Techniques

? This was a troubling thing for Milton Erickson, the inventor of conversational hypnosis, because he had used hypnotic mind control techniques on his patients for years with much success. Thanks to Milton Erickson we now know that we can use covert hypnosis techniques to control peoples minds and get them to do anything that we want. Here are 3 basic mind control techniques that you can use to make anyone do anything.

All 3 of these mind control techniques require that you have already built rapport with your subject. This means that you have already reached a point in the conversation where you are somewhat comfortable with each other. The ability to hypnotize someone before having built rapport is an advanced mind control technique and is beyond the scope of this article.

1. The Pause - Once you have decided what suggestion you would like to implant into the mind of your subject, reference that subject a few times. Here's the key, add pauses before, and after your suggestive words. For example, your friend is dealing with some anxiety problems and you would like for them to calm down. You might use the word "calm" a few times during the conversation but instead of just breezing past it you will slowly pronounce the word "calm" with pauses before and after. Be sure to maintain eye contact and don't over-dramatize.

2. Anchor Me - Ask your subject to tell you about a time that they went on vacation, or went to the beach, etc. and as you ask them this slowly tap yourself on the chest. Ask your subject to really be descriptive about how that experience felt. Periodically throughout the conversation be sure to tap yourself on the chest. This is a neuro-linguistic programming technique that anchors your subjects good "feelings" to you. As long as you do not draw too much attention to the chest taps and the taps seem to flow with the conversation then you will be successful. The key to mind control with conversation is to get past the gatekeeper, or the "conscious" mind and give suggestions to the "subconscious" mind.

3. Double Negative - One of the best ways to get past the conscious mind and gain the ability to implant suggestions into the mind of your subject is by confusing the conscious mind. Confusion will put someone into an instant trance much like a deer in the headlights. Once you have your subject inside this confused trance window you will be able to implant the suggestion that you want. One way to do this is to use double negatives. A double negative used in conversation causes the conscious mind to say, "Hey! Wait a minute! That's not proper English". While the subjects conscious mind is busy doing this you will have the perfect opportunity to implant whatever suggestion you like. Here's an example sentence, "I know you don't feel like going out tonight, but you shouldn't not allow yourself to go out and have a good time".
