He spends all that time with you to be absolutely sure you're thrilled with the ring you get. He gets a commission for that because he went above and beyond.

Now, consider your courier company driver. He drives for you in all weathers, at all times of the business day (and even up to midnight for some deliveries to businesses or hospitals, not to mention weekends). He handles hundreds of packages a day, delivers to dozens of addresses, manages his time efficiently, maintains his vehicle well, and remains a true and hardworking professional every minute that he's on duty.

If he's not going above and beyond, who is?

And any courier service, Los Angeles based or elsewhere, recognizes the value in that sparkling quality. Therefore, they pay a commission to their drivers. In case you were wondering, it is usually based on the ratio of packages/deliveries to shipping. But all that matters is, it keeps drivers happy.
