. A diverse area, the Park is best known for its concentrations of elephant some 120 000 individuals, along with good numbers of buffalo, antelope and predators. Birding is also excellent, with many migrants visiting from November to March. Fishing is an activity commonly found on the Chobe River. Local fishing guides associated with the Ichobezi River lodge, are available to offer their expertise and skill acquired over a lifetime.

For those interested in an intimate experience with marine life, Ichobezi Safari boats are the ideal mode of luxury travel. Measuring 18 meters long with four appointed cabins, each with an en suite bathroom and large window, offering guests their own private view of the river.

The two houseboats each offer a large entertainment deck with lounge, bar, dining area, sundeck and plunge pool. The houseboats are also equipped with three tender boats and guests are welcome to navigate the river independently. The Ichobezi cruises through the Kasai channel into the Zambezi River which is a prime area for fishing groups.
