2. Evangeline Lilly - at 31 years old, Evangeline Lilly has seen her life be changed around completely over the past few years, as the Ford Saskatchewan, Alberta born star went from having small, bit-parts in films to being a world famous actress, thanks to her role as Kate in Lost.

3. Jim Carrey - arguably one of the world's funniest comic actors, Jim Carrey was born in Newmarket, Ontario on 17 January 1962 and has featured in some fantastic, high grossing films, such as the Ace Ventura series, Dumb and Dumber and The Mask.

4. Leslie Nielsen - like Jim Carrey, Leslie Nielsen is known as one of the funniest comic actors to have ever graced the big screen, with his roles in Airplane! and The Naked Gun films being particular highlights.

Born in 1926 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Nielsen started his career in television roles, with him often telling reporters that he once appeared in 50 live broadcasts in 1950 alone.
