Many people make the misconception that only hard work results in success and wealth. That is only partly true because it is ideas from the impulse of imagination that create wealth.

For example working hard and long hours in order to become rich will only tire you out and lead to stress, not riches like you thought you were headed to by working hard. Working hard and tiring yourself out will only make you perish on the way to your goals of success and wealth. After you perish on your job of working hard it may even cause you to forget about your goals in the first place and you might even give up.

This is why the success does not come from working hard most of the time, it comes from imagination. Sometimes the little decisions that you make in your life or in your business or in your profession can go a long way and earn you a lot of wealth or success.

You wonder why the wealthiest people seem to work the least hours and they have the most time to enjoy their lives on top of their money. That is because they made small decisions that went a long way in order for them to get to their success. An example of this would be how many successful authors just change the name of their book and not even change a word in the text and they end up selling millions of copies due to their decision to change the title on their book in order to make it more attractive to the public.

This shows how the little things like changing a title are what can make you successful in your business and in your life instead of working hard and burning yourself out and eventually giving up on your success by working hard. This is why it is important to work smart by paying attention to specific detail in your business, personal and professional lives that could earn you a lot of wealth. It could be as simple as creating a new slogan to advertise your business.

Andrew Carnegie knew very little about steel itself and he did not work hard with it as well either. He used his imagination to create the simple tools in order to expand the steel industry as we know it today and that is what helped create his wealth. This is why the people with the biggest imaginations make millions or even billions to create little things that generate them so much wealth while most of the United States population doesn't believe in how that success can be possible and they end up working for someone else and living paycheck to paycheck and look at the most famous and richest people in envy.

If you want to be successful you have to open up your imagination and make the little, smart decisions that will benefit and everyone else forever. Herb Kelleher demonstrated this idea when he developed the first low cost airline, Southwest Airlines, that people were able to afford to fly on in order to get them around the state of Texas. Southwest eventually expanded to become the largest domestic airline in the country today and the only airline that has been consistently profitable over the last thirty years when many of the other airlines have either gone bankrupt, merged or went out of business because they did not think outside the box and make the little and successful strategical decisions that lead Southwest Airlines to their ongoing profitability and success.

Herb's philosophy of Southwest Airlines is an example of how successful and wealthy people use their imaginations to think outside the box by expressing or making business decisions they feel will make them successful and put them above the competition and grow their own fortune. If you apply this idea to your home based multi-level marketing business then you will be successful for the long run by being imaginative and innovative.

Herb Kelleher also had some other important concepts about success about how you should think about what your customers or potential leaders in your business want when you imagine how you are going to market your business and this will develop rapport and trust when you bring in your future leaders.

Herb also advised to keep open to new opportunities and when they arise take the right steps to meet them. You should also stick to your ideas. These are traits of successful and wealthy people because when their imagination brings them new ideas or when new opportunity comes about they always capitalize on them because they realize if they do not they are only missing out on future success, fame, innovation and wealth.
