Imtech N.V. Receives €22 Million In Smart Network Orders

Imtech N.V., a European technical services provider

, has been seeing an increase in the demand for intelligent networks for smart buildings and smart grids. Imtech announces that it had recently obtained 22 million in orders. Intelligent networks are designed as the basic infrastructure for achieving maximum energy efficiency.

Recent Dutch orders for intelligent networks were placed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the energy company Eneco, the Jeroen Bosch Hospital in Den Bosch, ASR Netherlands and the Municipality of Amersfoort.

In addition to installing the systems, Imtech is also managing and maintaining the networks. The company provides its ICT 24X7 Network Operating Center (NOC) with built-in redundancy. Additionally, the company offers networking, unified communications and IT security services.

Imtech is currently working with global market leaders, such as Cisco Systems and HP Networking on the maintenance and management of the intelligent networks.
