Firstly, you can keep your costs down, eliminating the need for expensive accommodation or transport to an external venue that could be on the other side of the country. Secondly, your staff are always on hand in the event that they are needed and you don't have to compromise your firm's performance whilst the training is underway.

When hiring in-house trainers, you can ensure that the learning products are tailored to be relevant to your team and the business as a whole. A good in-house trainer will take the time to identify your firm's needs on both a general and individual level and will be able to use its strengths and weaknesses to create an effective, bespoke training event. In addition, by having your staff train alongside one another, they will get a greater overview of the roles they play within the mechanics of your business and develop deeper professional bonds as a result. By ensuring that all your team are 'singing off the same hymn sheet', you will increase their productivity and, in turn, create a greater return on your investment.
