Height increase is the belief a body can consume certain pills or potion

, surgery, pills or do an exercise or series of exercises to increase height. It is even believed this increase height can happen after puberty or when the growing stage of life has ended.

There is some merit to all of the above, but some of them are nothing but scams, promoted by ripoff artists trying to separate the unwary from their hard earned dollars and cents.

it is true, true height increase can come from focused stretching exercises, pin pointing certain muscles and ligaments.

The most common of these to focus upon is the spine. Why? Because it has the most room for growth.


The idea here is the spin will compress because of gravity over time. Decompression is the process of stretching or elongating the spinal column achieving the increased height you looking for.

If the body can overcome the effects of gravity or use it to ones advantage then normal everyday effects of gravity can be overcome to a degree and usually that degree is pretty impressive.

Well, just how impressive is impressive. It can range from 3 - 6 inches or more in as little as 8 weeks. I'll bet you did not grow that much when you were in your major growth spurt when you were 14, did you?

During the day gravity pulls down on the body, closing any gaps there my be and compressing anything that can compress. Most of these gaps or compression rings, disks if you will, are in the back. Therefore if you can and will decompress those disks it makes perfect sense you can get taller. But how can you get taller in this way? Because you tend to get shorter this way.

If you measure yourself in the morning when you first get up you may notice a significant difference between a morning measurement and night measurement. It during the night, the spin relaxes and decompresses, allowing for added height. But then all this cannot be permanently overcome because of the short time and effects of every day reversal.

So what is a body to do to get taller, permanently?

Practice some spine stretching exercises to offset the effects of gravities constant pull.

There basically three exercises a body can do to increase height and it does not have to cost you an arm and a leg to do, like some invasive acts of surgery. Or a bazillion dollars for some magic potion that will lighten your wallet. Some of those are as much as a couple of hundred bucks for a couple of bottles. If buy those a body could always say they saw you coming.

One exercise is to find a bar placed between two door jams to hang from. If you are too tall to hang from it you will need to bend your knees and get your feet off the floor. You should hang for as long as you can. In the beginning it may be quite short, but will increase over time as you get stronger. Hanging from the bar will allow gravity to stretch the spin downward, relaxing those muscles and decompressing the spine.

Another option is to obtain an inversion board to invert your body and allow gravity to work its reverse logic on your spine.

The third option can have the same affect can with some hanging boots. These boots have hooks on the backs which hook over a bar like the hanging bar where you will hang upside down for a few minutes.


To be truthful with you, these exercises alone will not give you permanent increase height. You will also need to engage in some things like getting plenty of rest, drinking lots of water, eating nutritious meals and staying away from junk food with all the sugar, soft drinks and caffeine drinks and yes, alcohol to. There are other stretching exercises to help you get taller also.

This a topic for another article, but you need to awaken the pituitary gland to secrete more HGH (human growth hormone) to make the body produce those growth enzymes you had lots of when you were growing taller way back when.
