The domain of education in India is undergoing significant changes for some years now

Post Independence and for several decades after that education was considered solely the prerogative of the central and state governments.
While government remains a dominant player still, several private organisations including those with corporate backing have gradually come into this space.
This has brought in several changes especially for teachers who form the backbone of the domain.
Unlike in the past, when people opted for the teaching profession merely because it was noble,' teachers now get ongoing training; opportunities to interface and exchange knowledge and ideas with others from the community (including international) in seminars, conventions, workshops; clearly defined career growth paths and higher remuneration.
A significant difference between government school teachers of yesteryears and modern-day teaching professionals is in the last two points monetary benefits and career growth which are interlinked as well. Both of these have been made possible by the revolution that has hit the Indian Education System.
A lot more research and training has now started going into sustaining and growing teachers throughout the time that they spend in education.
Many institutes have come up with focused training programs for teachers in various disciplines.
One such is Inspire Education, an Education & Training Services organisation based in New Delhi.
Inspire Education was founded in 2009 by educators who had first-hand experience of challenges faced in conventional classrooms.
