One of the major symptoms of internal hemorrhoids is bright red blood that comes out from the anus just before passing stools. An individual may also find streaks of blood on stools. Sometimes bleeding could be heavier and may lead to the deficiency of blood (anemia).

An individual may find severe pain due to internal hemorrhoids. Those internal hemorrhoids that are larger in size and come out from the anus only produce pain, when they are squeezed by the muscles. The pain in internal hemorrhoids is the sign that the blood supply to that area is compromised and hence an individual would require an emergency treatment in order to tackle this problem.

There are other internal hemorrhoids symptoms including, itching to the anal region, skin irritation and discomfort, etc. Itching at the anal region is a common symptom, since the internal hemorrhoids secretes mucus which sticks to the skin of that area and causes irritation. Irritation may also be caused by the large hemorrhoids which come out from the anal canal and secrete mucus.

An individual may get discomfort due to internal hemorrhoids as well. This discomfort is due to the feeling of passing stools just after getting the movement of bowel. During this process, the large piles come out from the anal canal and keep a person disturbed.

Another significant symptom of internal hemorrhoids is the swelling and lump in the anal area. This is a big problem, since a person becomes unable to sit comfortably. He gets a lot of pain all the time, which increases in intensity especially at the time of passing stools.

One should bear in mind that the bleeding due to internal hemorrhoids could be without pain. Pain is something which happens when the hemorrhoids are compressed by the muscles in the anal canal. If they are smaller in size, they would never generate pain. However, if they are larger enough, then pain would be the only horrible symptom to make a person disturbed all the time.

In conclusion, the internal hemorrhoids symptoms are many and could be recognized easily. It is therefore better for a person to consult the doctor on immediate basis, so that he would get the appropriate treatment without any delay.
