Internet Explorer 8 as web browser is widely used, but the all-new interface of Internet Explorer 9, known in short as IE 9, promises to more user-friendly, faster, and certainly more adapted to the world of HTML5.

In its beta version, users still get to test the waters. For the users not using Windows 7, the news is not good. They will have to move to the Microsoft Windows 7 Platform before they will be able to enjoy the benefits associated with Internet Explorer 9.

If you are not using Windows 7 yet, you will still be able to browse the Net with version 8 and some of the other popular browsers. Version 9, however, is all worth the move. It has a simplified user interface with less clouding than that present in Version 8. The browser offers great speed, certainly an improvement on older versions of Internet Explorer and is also compatible with the latest WWW standards. It furthermore supports HTML5 and boasts an advanced JavaScript facility.

The focus is less on branding and more on user-friendliness. You can expect to see fewer logos, toolbars and status bars cluttering the screen and more of the content. With that IE 9 takes a leap forward ensuring the user can enjoy browsing for what it should be about the content and not the browser.

Users gain more control over the speed of browsing as IE 9 alerts them to any add-ons that may negatively affect the speed of the browser. In addition, the user also gets more control over the favourites. Forget about having to click on Favourites and then browse the categories to find your favourite sites. You can now simply pin the most used favourites to the taskbar area.

Although the browser also has its disadvantages, such as being just a little strange at first when comparing it to the older versions of Internet Explorer, it still lacks in the area of HD Video quality. Overall, it is a browser that can give other popular browsers a great run for their money!
