Don't be afraid to be yourself in an interview. You're allowed to smile, maybe have a joke as this can help your interview flow and it'll allow them to see your true side. Remember, your interviewers will often be thinking at the back of their mind, 'We have to work with this person.'
So, more often than not they have to like you as well as think you are competent for the role under consideration.
Finally, try and ask some questions at the conclusion of the interview as this will show how interested you are in this role.
