Iris Window Coverings Outfits New Medical Tower At Providence Regional Medical Center With Shades

well as one of the most prestigious in the nation) and now in its 28th year of business, is proud to announce the recent installation of 550 MechoSystems manual shades in the new Cymbaluk Medical Tower on the Providence Regional Medical Center campus in Everett.

The $500 million, 12-story facility, which comprises 680,000 square feet, along with stunning views of both the mountains and the water, features the finest medical services in the region, and Iris couldn't be more pleased to have been involved in such a noble endeavor.

This is a beautiful building which will serve the area so well, said Iris President Dick Benton. We were honored to be chosen to provide the window coverings, and feel we provided the perfect solution.

Mecho Systems' chain-driven MechoShade roller screens are part of the most comprehensive manual solar protection and room-darkening system available. They feature ThermoVeil and EuroVeil (visually-transparent sunscreens and room-darkening shades), along with a Lifetime Limited Warranty with 100% replacement, and no depreciation over the life of the warranty.

It's almost as if this product was tailor made for the sensitive needs of a hospital, added Benton.

Working in conjunction with project lead Mortenson Construction, the shade installation was one of the final touches before the building's ribbon-cutting opening this past summer.

The building is also the largest and most comprehensive project in the hospital's history, along with being the tallest building in Snohomish County.

The Providence Regional Medical Center is a full service medical center which has bee awarded many times over for its work in cardiac care, stroke care, critical car and general surgery excellence. With approximately 1,000 physicians on staff, the center is part of the Providence Health & Services in Washington, serving the Pacific Northwest for more than 100 years (since 1905).
