A pyramid SCAM has no product or service and you must "pay to play." You pay to get in and you get paid when you get other people to pay and get in under you. You don't sell a product or service to anyone that doesn't pay for the "privilege." You take the money of the people below you, and they, in turn take the money of the people below them. Ambit Energy has a legitimate product and you don't get paid until you get customers to buy your product, just like any other company in America. Every company in the United States is a pyramid of one type or another. You have a CEO in charge of a board of directors. They, in turn, are responsible for the different businesses within the corporation. These business owners are in charge of their managers, who are in charge of the everyday employees that are the backbone of the corporation as a whole. This is a fundamental business structure used across all facets of business. Multi-Level Marketing, or MLM, is no different. Ambit Energy uses the MLM formula as a business model.
