It is not difficult to build a strong self esteem.

The first step is realizing that you are worth it and you can do anything with hard work and dedication.

Find out what you really want and convince yourself that you can do it. Like, if you want a wonderful partner who shares your love of books, or partying till 2 in the morning, just think that you can have it and you deserve it.

Reward yourself for your achievements by indulging in something you desire. Good drink? Good movie? A Weekend out? This will definitely help you to build self esteem.

Do not ignore compliments, accept them graciously.

Stop putting yourself down.

These steps may look or sound ineffective and not praiseworthy but the reality is that they will build confidence and build self-esteem.
