The Hoover Elite Rewind Bagless vacuum cleaner is one of the best vacuum cleaners that I have ever owned. My family received this vacuum cleaner as a house warming gift, and we cannot be more happy with how well it works for us. It pulls so much first from the carpet, it is actually kind of scary to realize the mess that we had previously been living in.

We have two dogs that both shed a decent amount. We also have two kids, so every bit of our home is considered a "high traffic" area. This vacuum has not only really good suction, but the provided also work very well. It's amazing the amount of dog hair and dirt that this thing can pull from my carpet. The pet hair attachment tools works great for cleaning the couches. With two kids, crumbs in the couch are always an issue, and this thing picks them up without a problem. Anyone with kids should really loved this attachment.

The cord rewind feature of this vacuum is where it gets its name and is the coolest part of this machine. The automatic cord rewind makes it easy to move from room to room, with out having to drag a cord behind you, getting tangled on furniture as it goes. Another cool feature would be the ease of emptying the dirt cannister via dirt release feature on the bottom of the device. It's great for people that suffer from allergies, as none of the dirt is spilled into a cloud in the air.

Cleaning the vacuum is fairly easy. Twist off the cannister and rinse the filter under tap water. It takes about a night to dry out. You can do the same with the cannister. Rinse it out and wipe it dry or let it sit out for a night and it is ready to go again the next day.

Overall, as I mentioned above this is a geat vacuum and the price can't be beat. We compared to other bagless vacuum cleaners and they were much higher priced, but we are grateful that we received ours as a gift! Buy this vacuum and you won't need to buy another vacuum for many many years. Your family will love you for ir.
