Great window handles are vitally important parts for sash or casement windows. With casement windows the handles can act as both window openers and window locks, these types of handles are most often referred to as Espagnolette handles. Traditionally PVC casement windows come with white handles in order to match the colour of the frame however, recent changes in PVC manufacturing means that colours can be applied to frames. Window fasteners are generally not lockable on the inside which means although they do protect from the outside, they cannot stop the windows being opened (and left open) from the inside. In order to solve this problem, there are locking fasteners and also securifitch locks which are all specifically designed to enhance security on both the inside and outside.
