LAS VEGAS Jerry L. Brown was looking for a change after spending a good portion of his career in the insurance industry. While researching career opportunities, he came across ActionCOACH and knew he'd found a company with which he could partner and create success throughout his community.

ActionCOACH is the world's leader in business and executive coaching. When Brad Sugars, Chairman and Founder, started the company in 1993, it was still in its nascent stages. By franchising the company in 1997, Sugars helped business coaching become more mainstream turning it into the second fastest growing category behind Information Technology. ActionCOACH specializes in coaching small to medium size business as well as executive teams and group coaching.

Jerry Brown comes to ActionCOACH after working with State Farm Insurance in a number of different capacities. He began as an Insurance and Financial Services Representative, where he received several National Sales Awards.

Brown was promoted to Agency Manager, where he was responsible for recruiting and hiring self-employed sales representatives and assisted agents in all facets of their business. He was named top Agency Manager in his Zone twice and was Top 50 company-wide three times. He next became an Agency Field Executive where he supervised a staff of 4 people working with developing insurance agencies in southern Indiana.

While Brown was climbing the State Farm company ladder, he continued to have a strong sense of community, which led him to want to do more with his career. "I was looking for a challenge outside of the traditional corporate world," Brown said recently, "And ActionCOACH gives me the opportunity to help other business owners improve and achieve results beyond their dreams." Brown's experience in the insurance world means he understands the key components to being a successful business owner and what it takes to develop a strong team, systems and sales and marketing strategies.

In addition to his career achievements, Brown is very active in his community. He has organized several successful golf scrambles and silent auctions, raising thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society. He also served on the White County Hospital Board of Directors for eight years, was on the Advisory Board of US Congressman Steve Buyer, was a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, serving in several leadership positions.

Brown resides in Louisville, Kentucky where he will run his own ActionCOACH firm. Jerry Brown has a wealth of experience and talent to add to the ActionCOACH team. With his superior business background he can add an unbeatable layer of support to any business that works with ActionCOACH.
