Johns Pass Ghost Tours Perfect For Halloween On Madeira Beach

Featuring a candlelit walking tour through historic Johns Pass Village, youll hear tales of buried treasure, tragedies, and modern day hauntings that have shaped the community of Madeira Beach.

The tour begins at Hubbards Marina, which is where the quaint fishing village of Johns Pass originated and where the city of Madeira Beach began. Hear the tales of how Johns Pass and Treasure Island were shaped by a great hurricane, and the buried treasure of pirate John Levique that was never recovered.

Tours begin every night at 8 pm from the Hubbards Marina Information Booth and last approximately 70-90 minutes. The cost is $15 per person and $8 for children ages 4-12. Tour-takers are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes, sneakers preferably, as this is walking tour.

The tour is suitable for children. In fact its more fun when the whole family takes part in it! Tour guides all wear costumes as they tell tales of lost love, betrayal, and heartbreak, and always incorporate historical perspective so you can learn about the people and events that shaped the area.

Other popular spots you can see on these ghost tours include the Gulfport Casino, Old Tampa Theater, the Detroit Hotel in downtown St. Petersburg, and the old Hotel Cordova.
