Kahrs Engineered Wood Flooring to remove more World Naturals products from Catalogue

Kahrs (Sweden), producers of Engineered Wood Flooring products

, announce the withdrawal of a number of their World Naturals Collection.

The withdrawal is due to happen relatively quickly, and little or no new productions are scheduled for these products. The products in particular are the 2-strip Kahrs Jatoba Natal Engineered Wood Floor, Kahrs Jatoba Brasilia Engineered Wood Floor and Kahrs Merbau Jakarta Engineered Wood Floor.

This is in line with Kahrs stated objectives, which is to remove the World Naturals Collection over the near to not too distant future, and comes shortly after the withdrawal of the Kahrs Jatoba La Paz Engineered Wood Floor earlier this year.

With the advances of product colouring, the same effect can be reproduced in Oak, and Kahrs intend to bring out a new range in 2011.

The removal of these products further reduces the World Naturals range, however the new range will fill the gap left by their removal. The shift towards more sustainable products a logical and ecologically savvy move on the part of Kahrs. With the advent of more sophisticated coatings allows the Kahrs engineered wood floors to offer a 30 year guarantee on the surface of the products, in a domestic environment.
