Kathmandu is a famous tourist place. Kathmandu is the largest city and capital of Nepal and the namesake of the Kathmandu Valley. Tourist places in Kathmandu are Swayambhu (one of the most sacred Buddhist sites), Boudha Stupa (most sacred sites for Tibetan Buddhism), Narayanhiti Palace Museum (Royal palace), Freak Street (Historic home of western hippies seeking enlightenment), Nasal Chowk, Pashupatinath (An important Hindu temple to Shiva in the form of Lord of Animals), Garden of Dreams, Budda Neelkanth (An Idol of Bhagwan Vishnu in a sleeping position).

Some world famous monuments are Humayun's Tomb (Mughal monument), Purana Quila (Old Fort), Red Fort (the Red Fort was made in 1639, when Shah Jahan decided to shift his capital from Agra to Delhi), Salimgarh Fort, Safdarjung's Tomb. Delhi is also famous for so many temples like Akshardham (depicting ancient Indian "vastu shastra"), Bahai Temple (also known as Lotus Temple) - The structure is made up of pure white marble The architect Furiburz Sabha chose the lotus as the symbol common to Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam., Birla Mandir (also famous as Laxmi Narayan Mandir), Iskon Temple (Temple of Lord Krishna). Delhi also world-wide famous for so many markets (Dilli Haat, Chadni Chowk, Khan Market, Connaught Place) & Gardens (Garden of five senses, Lodhi Garden).
