Kerrie-anne Ford Appointed As New Uk And Europe Wedding Supervisor For Sandals

Sandals and Beaches Resorts has appointed Kerrie-Anne Ford as the new weddings supervisor

for the UK and Europe in order to boost Sandals sales in the region.

Fords new role will involve promoting the destination weddings brand: Sandals Weddings by Martha Stewart and she will be responsible for the growth of Sandals and Beaches Resorts Wedding Moons.

The new weddings supervisor has worked for Sandals Resorts for the past five years and her most recent role was as a concierge executive for the hotel group.

Couples will be able to discuss plans for their planned weddings abroad at Sandal Resorts with Ford as she offers them advice on every aspect of the special occasion, from catering and the perfect setting for the ceremony, to organising the legal documents.

Ford will also be attending wedding shows and exhibitions while hosting FAM trips for travel agents and tour operators at Sandals properties in the Caribbean in order to increase brand exposure and spread the knowledge about the hotel groups offering for Caribbean weddings.

Ford commented: I am looking forward to the challenges that the sale of destination weddings brings, and to finding innovative and exciting ways to promote the Sandals Product, which I am personally very proud to represent.

I am also looking forward to liaising directly with wedding couples, ensuring that they receive a high standard of customer care and can truly treasure their special day.

The Managing Director of Sandals and Beaches Resorts, Karl Thompson, added: Kerrie-Annes fantastic knowledge of the Sandals product, along with her organised and hard-working nature makes her the ideal person to head-up our busy Weddings team.

She will be a real asset later this year as we develop our wedding product further, to allow clients to customise the wedding themes to their own personal preferences.

Sandals Resorts offers plenty of idyllic spots for romantic destination weddings across the Caribbean on tropical islands including St Lucia, Antigua, Jamaica and the Bahamas.

Couples getting married abroad at Sandals Resorts can choose from several settings for their weddings including soft sandy beaches for intimate ceremonies at sunset or nuptials within lush tropical gardens.

Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort & Private Island in Montego Bay, Jamaica will also be hosting the prestigious World Travel Awards VIP Caribbean & the Americas Gala Ceremony on Wednesday 19th October, 2011.
