Kicking Butt: Starting A Business From Home

Every parent knows that the most important thing in life is his children

. From the first time you hold your newborn in your arms you know there will never be anything in life as valuable as this little seven-pound treasure. Our children are a part of us and we do everything within our power to keep them safe as they grow to be independent adults.

Many of us chose to have our husbands get a job, and we decided to stay home to raise our child. We spend every day making them dinner and washing their clothes, and nothing could be better because we know that nothing in the whole world means more to us than being able to spend every day with our children.

Children grow up very fast. Older parents always tell the younger ones to enjoy every minute of your child at every age because childhood goes away in a flash. We think we get it because we have seen other people's children as well as our nieces and nephews speed from infant to grade school to college graduate. It is only our own children that really drive this lesson home.

It seems like no time at all and our newborn baby is suddenly walking and talking. Then we blink and they are starting kindergarten. We've probably all heard it said that they slowly need us less and less and that it doesn't happen all at once, but the first day that they leave us for kindergarten sure feels like it came on all at once.

Before you have a chance to digest the little kindergartner, he has turned into a high school graduate and is out of your house and your care and he's on his own. Just like that.

Most of us find that being home all day by ourselves drives us crazy. Our first thought is probably to go back to work, but it's been so many years since we've held an actual job in the workforce that we don't really have a resume or much work experience. We interview for a job that has twenty other people applying, all younger than us with far more work experience than we have.

It's hard enough to get a job when we've been out of work for so long, but in the current state of our economy it's practically impossible. But we can't just sit at home and do nothing and we would love to be able to make money so when our husbands retire we can travel and go on trips, so what do we do? Well now there's a way that any of us can have a job without any experience.

With cutting edge software and technology any one of us can start our own online business. We can earn money whether we have a college degree or not and with no specific experience in any field. We can do this by utilizing the same skill set we perfected raising our kids: Patience, hard work, tenacity and determination.

We all love to be able to raise our children, but eventually they grow up and need us less. Starting our own online business allows us to use our talents to generate actual income and we don't need a resume to do it. So when your children grow up, which they all do eventually, don't just sit at home going crazy, do something. Step out in the work force and kick butt. You go girl!
