Kitchen Design Centre urges homeowners to upgrade to a designer kitchen before New Year to avoid VAT increase

With a major VAT increase set to kick in on 4 January it's sensible to invest in new products before the New Year.

The Government's legislation will see VAT rise from 17.5 per cent to 20 per cent in the New Year.

So for larger investments, such as home improvement, consumers can save hundreds, or even thousands, of pounds by making an early purchase.

The tax increase also means it will cost companies more to order to the materials in.

So experts at Kitchen Design Centre are advising potential buyers to purchase their modern kitchens now to avoid losing their money.

With the suppliers increase, 8 per cent, and the VAT increase on the kitchen itself, 2.5 per cent, buying a designer kitchen in the New Year would cost consumers a whopping 10 per cent more.

Putting that into context, a stylish 10,000 modern kitchen will cost 1000 more after 4 January.

And, with a only limited amount of installation slots available, Kitchen Design Centre urges its customers to place orders for new kitchens before 1 November.

Any kitchens which are booked after this date will have to be fitted in the New Year.

Kitchen Design Centre offers the latest in high quality Neff and Miele appliances and a bespoke service.

The company ensures all sinks, taps and worktops are of the highest quality - featuring optional ornaments to compliment.

There is a unique service available - free kitchen design evaluations to inspire customers to unlock the true potential of their homes. The service is available by applying online or the visiting the showrooms.

The showrooms are located in Manchester just off the M60 at junction 22, in Blackburn - positioned on the A666 at Brownhill's roundabout - and in Colne near the end of the M65.

Call Kitchen Design Centre as soon as possible to avoid disappointment - Manchester, 0161 681 5061, Blackburn, 01254 246 046, or Colne, 01282 828 444.
