When silicon is completely pure, it serves as an ideal neutral platform that facilitates transmission of electrons. Silicon atoms can accommodate eight electrons in their outer band but carry only four in neutral state. In case of charged state two silicon atoms combine together to receive 4 electrons form each other and create a strong bond. The amount of electricity generated by solar panels depends upon several things; its size, second is its angle of installation, its orientation and the amount of shading.
