Lady Gagas Rigby And Peller Riddle

Lady Gagas upcoming video would of course require some pretty fantastic costumes

to live up to the previous outfits including just a few strips of police tape and leather bomber jacket with coke cans in her hair. Wearing precious little in her videos and in real life is also a theme, so it would be totally natural for one of the UKs top underwear establishments to lend her some great lingerie sets to be used in her new video. So they sent 7 beautiful handmade lingerie sets which the singer wore in her video, the hitch? Only 3 initially made their way back!

If that wasnt terrible enough, the lingerie that Rigby and Peller sent were prototypes for their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection which were needed for their showcase catwalk show. The items were only lent to Gaga under the understanding that they would definitely find their way back in time, 3 of which did but the others were missing in transit. Luckily most have now found their way back to Rigby and Peller fantastic news for them and for Gaga.

The new Autumn/Winter collection is made up of beautiful nude coloured basques with black detailing highlighting the curves of the female shape. Something that would no doubt look brilliant in a Lady Gagas Video but the experience has been marred by rumours that made their way into the national press in quite a few major publications including the Daily Mail, The Mirror and on Grazias website to name a few.

Fanning the Flames

Lady Gagas camp are said to be less than happy that the story was leaked to the press and is thinking about taking the scenes involving the underwear out of her music video. However, it cannot be denied that they fuelled the rumour by issuing the statement No comment which instantly raises eye brows. People can be forgiven for coming to their own conclusions when you refuse to offer your side of the story.

Rigby and Peller for their part never accused Lady Gaga of any underhand business they just needed their prototypes back. Each item is handmade and the exclusive designs were required for the upcoming Autumn/Winter collection. The lack of lingerie could have meant a delay in the productions of the new collection so Rigby and Peller bosses were keen to have their lingerie returned and hoped the publicity created would help locate the missing items!

Whether Gaga will go ahead and use the underwear scenes after all the fuss with Rigby and Peller we dont know, but ones things for sure her video will no doubt be outrageous, underwear or not!
