Lanier Ld-035 Fully Expandable Small Copy Machine

, buyers can utilize the Lanier LD-035 as a compact desktop copy machine, or build it up to a floor standing, fully operational document processor. With faxing and stapling hardware accessories available, this speedy, time tested machine is great for businesses that deal primarily in black and white text.

The Lanier LD-035s print and copy speeds top out at 35 pages per minute, but an upgraded version of the copy machine, the Lanier LD-045, can execute 45 pages per minute for a slight increase in price. Resolution is, unfortunately, not a high point for either model. Printing tops out at only 600 x 600 dots per inch, and even optical scanning is limited to 600 x 600 dots per inch as well. The units first copy out time of only 4.5 seconds (3.6 seconds for the Lanier LD-045) is more than acceptable and makes single page copying extremely fast.

Scan once / print many is possible for up to 999 copies from a single source at the same time, and electronic sorting is made possible by the Lanier LD-035s internal memory. Paper supply can be upgraded to a maximum of 3,550 sheets, but comes standard with dual 500 sheet paper drawers and a 50 sheet bypass tray. Optional paper trays include an additional two 500 sheet drawers for storage of up to five different paper types that can be auto switched by the machine, or a huge 1,500 sheet large capacity paper cassette.

Oversized paper is fully compatible with the Lanier LD-035, which can print and copy to both A3 and tabloid / ledger sized paper. It can also print as small as A6. Reduction and enlargement is made possible by dedicated controls and a touch screen LCD panel in ratios of 25 - 400% in single percentage increments. Two sided printing is also fully automated thanks to a built in duplexor.

The Lanier LD-035s dimensions are difficult to determine absolutely due to the expansive nature of the hardware, but the base unit alone rests at 670 x 650 x 720 mm with a core weight of 79 Kgs. For enormous amounts of internal document storage, a built in hard drive come standard and can hold up to 20 GBs of data. A wide array of expansion options are available as well and include a 33.6 Kbps fax modem which fan further be added to with an additional fax modem for simultaneous faxing.

Other options include an 80 sheet document feeder for automatic rifling of large input data, and a 125 sheet capacity bin tray. A 1,000 sheet finisher is available with a 50 sheet stapling capacity and 3 positions, while a multi tray finisher is an option as well and comes complete with a 500 sheet upper tray and 2,000 sheet lower tray, along with a 50 sheet stapling capacity and an optional hole punch. With other expansion options available as well, the Lanier LD-035 is easily customizable to perfectly suit any offices needs.
