If you are a part of the Latter-Day Saints (LDS) church then it is a matter of great pride to wear LDS rings

. Also known as the CTR rings, these are a reminiscent of the motto of the church and the religious associations of the people, following the same. CTR stands for Choose the Right which happens to be a motto which was developed by the members of the LDS church. This motto is taught to the children at young age and even to the other members of the church. It teaches lessons on righteousness to the participants and how one should always act in a way which is correct and ethical.

It was somewhere in the 1960s that a committee recommended that CTR should be turned into a logo and embedded into a shield logo. This later became an official church material and a part of the religious lives of many.

Such LDS rings are not only an integral element of the lives of the people, they are also a great way in which people can remind themselves of the Choose the Right (CTR) motto. In times of distress and challenges, people can just have a glance at their rings and be able to convince themselves about the brighter side of life.

While these rings are highly popular since a long time, there have been various other purposes for which they are being used too. Take the example of LDS gifts. These gifts can be a really defining moment in the life of a person. These gifts can not necessarily be the rings.
