Islamic countries around the world are brimming with natural and human resources

. They are blessed with the best regions of the world with tremendous resources of oil, gas, minerals, sea trade routes, land trade routes, and geographically and strategically the most significant locations in the world. They have got most of the world youth power in their countries. There populating is present almost in every part of the world doing their jobs, in formidable numbers. Is spite of all these credentials and resources, unfortunately, there is as great deficit of leadership qualities across the Muslim countries, which does not allow them to take full advantage of their resources. Lack of proper planning and management has led them to economic halt, and most of the time they can make little progress in the world.

There resources are either not exploited as is the case with the natural mineral resources found in abundance in of the one of the most backward area of Baluchistan, a province of Pakistan, or they are exploited by the technologies and skills of the expatriates to extract and use them.

To cut a long story short, the resourceful Muslim countries are suffering from lack of organization and management. And this is because they are lacking the most required qualities of leadership and management. Though the need of executive education is felt high in the Muslim countries, but most of the institutes in the Muslim countries are not providing quality executive educations. The lots these institutes produce seem to be less equipped to compete with the modern world league in their relative fields. And this is the main reason behind this deficit of leadership and management. In the Arab Human Challenge Report it is stated that:

The report reveals that human capital, and the mismatch between supply and demand, both in terms of the quality and quantity of labor available, is amongst the most pressing challenges to Arab businesses going forward.
