Strong will power: The fact is that almost all of us are aware of the benefits of good nutrition and a little bit of physical exercises but gradually, our spirits fade away and we are back to our normal, sedentary and dull routine. So first of all, pull your socks, brace yourself! Tell yourself that you are doing this for yourself. You have every right to look and feel good about yourself. Set yourself a goal that I have to lose 2 kilograms in 10 days or I should be able to run 2 kilometers in 10 minutes after 5 days. If you achieve your set target, you will feel like a winner!
Sensible diet: Another reason for dropping out of a diet plan is that we follow fad, irrational diets. Understand that fitness is a long term goal. You want to look slim and feel active for the rest of your life and not for a certain period of time only. So plan a diet which you can follow easily. Eat to your hearts content but avoid oily, spicy and excessively sweet things. Eat a lot of fibrous stuff and drink loads and loads of water.
Pack some fruits, nuts, wheat bran cookies and some salad in your bag so that whenever you feel hungry, you dont binge on unhealthy snacks. Also, eat every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism active.
