- Jot down important thoughts as bullet points. Even one word or phrase is enough for you to include a thought.

- Focus attention on important thoughts by highlighting them in the notes.

- Leave some space in every face of paper. It will help you join some new points later on.

- Arrange your notes into individual files. Every subject should have a separate file. You need to label the file's outer page with name of your teacher and subject. Also, you should neatly organize every file in accordance with topics and chapters.

- Read the notes in the night, and read only once. It helps you remember the lessons clearly.
