- Get yourself a good instructional material. Assess yourself on how you learn things faster. Do you learn easily with a tutor? Can you easily grasp lessons through videos and self-help? In this internet age, you can however find many web resources that you can use in learning to play the violin, but you have to be consistent too. Following different lessons in different sources online may not be of big help to you in learning the instrument fast.
